Meet Roameo

One van, kept properly — and named, because he's earned it.

Roameo is a 2021 Tiffin Cahaba 4x4 built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 chassis. Nineteen feet, diesel, four-wheel drive, all-terrain tires. He'll take a washboard forest road to a trailhead and still be comfortable on the interstate home.

There's no rental counter and no fleet number, because there's no fleet. You deal with the people who own the van, hand you the keys, and washed the sheets that morning. And when you get back, you don't clean anything — we do that too.

The Adventure-Ready Package

Bring food and clothes. That's the whole packing list.

Every booking includes it, at no extra cost. It's the reason people book us twice.

  • Professionally cleaned and sanitized
  • Battery banks fully charged, tanks filled
  • Full kitchen: dishes, pots, pans, utensils, flat grill, Keurig
  • Fresh bedding, pillows, blankets and towels
  • Toiletries — soap, shampoo, conditioner
  • Mattress topper, games, and the small stuff you'd forget
  • Waste tanks dumped and flushed when you return
  • Interior and exterior cleaning after your trip
The easy return. You're tired. The last thing you want is to find a dump station and do laundry. So don't. Bring Roameo back with a full fuel tank and hand us the keys — we handle the cleaning, the dumping, and the sheets.
Flying in? That's our specialty. We meet you at Boise Airport, get you settled, and walk you through the van. When the trip's done, we meet you back at the terminal. Grab your bags and go.

Where It Goes

Boise is a very good place to start.

Land at BOI, and by dinner you can be somewhere with no cell service and a lot of granite.

01
Stanley & the Sawtooths
Alpine lakes, hot springs right off the highway, and granite that goes pink at nine at night.
≈ 3 hr
02
McCall & Payette Lake
The easiest first night out. Swim in the afternoon, build a fire, be home by Sunday.
≈ 2 hr
03
Sun Valley & Ketchum
Trailheads in the morning, a genuinely good dinner at night. Park the van, sleep in it anyway.
≈ 2 hr 45
04
Craters of the Moon
Black lava fields and some of the darkest skies in the lower 48. Bring a headlamp and stay up.
≈ 3 hr
05
Shoshone Falls
Higher than Niagara, and in spring runoff it's genuinely loud. Worth the detour east.
≈ 2 hr
06
Yellowstone & the Tetons
The long one. Give it a week, and let the 4x4 earn its keep on the way.
≈ 6 hr

We had an amazing time in Roameo! Molly was wonderful to work with and so helpful with questions. She paid great attention to details, equipping Roameo with things like seasonings and ziplock bags so we didn’t have to go out and buy those things. He was easy to drive and we are looking forward to renting him again in the future. Couldn’t recommend more if you are looking for a fun and comfortable adventure!”

Molly is a great host and made sure our trip started well and ended easy. We would definitely book Roameo with Molly again.”

World-Class Experience – Best Camper Van Rental Ever! If you’re searching for the perfect camper van, look no further. This van — and its incredible owners — are absolutely world class. From the moment we picked it up to the final day of our trip, everything about this experience exceeded expectations. The van itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully outfitted. It was extremely comfortable to sleep in — the bed setup was cozy and supportive, easily rivaling a good hotel. The shower was unexpectedly amazing — clean, spacious, and with excellent water pressure, which is rare in camper vans. What really made the experience shine, though, was how well-equipped and versatile the van was. It had everything we could possibly need for a smooth, enjoyable trip — cooking essentials, great storage, efficient power solutions, and a layout that made life on the road effortless. It felt like someone had actually lived in it and fine-tuned every detail for maximum comfort. And I can’t say enough good things about the owners. They were kind, professional, responsive, and clearly passionate about making your trip as seamless as possible. They truly care about the experience you’re going to have, and it shows in every detail. Whether you’re a seasoned road tripper or a first-timer looking to explore in comfort and style, I wholeheartedly recommend this camper van. It’s an unforgettable way to travel — and you won’t find better people to rent from.”

FAQ

The things people ask us.

Where do we pick up the van?

Boise Airport (BOI) — meeting flights is our specialty. We'll be there with Roameo, get you settled, walk you through everything, and send you off. At the end of the trip we meet you back at the terminal: hand over the keys, grab your bags, catch your flight. If you're driving in instead, we're based in the Treasure Valley and can sort out a local pickup.

What does it cost?

From $250 per night, or $1,350 per week, plus a refundable security deposit. Rates vary with the season and the length of the trip, so send us your dates and we'll give you an exact quote within 24 hours. Booking direct means no platform service fee on top.

How does insurance work?

Insurance is added to your booking through Wheelbase, our rental platform. You choose the coverage tier you're most comfortable with — so you can decide how much protection you want for your trip rather than having one policy handed to you. It's all handled before you pick up the keys, so the only thing left to think about is where you're going.

Is it hard to drive?

No. It's a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter — 19 feet, automatic, diesel. Taller and longer than your car, but it drives like a van, not a truck. No special license needed. Drivers must be 25 or over. We'll walk you through all of it before you leave, and there's an instructional video and a binder in the van if you forget something.

Can we go off-grid?

That's what it's built for. Solar panels, lithium batteries and an inverter keep the power up; 28 gallons of fresh water and a 27-gallon waste tank keep you going for days without hookups. Just keep an eye on your levels — it isn't unlimited.

How many miles are included?

150 free miles per day. That comfortably covers a Sawtooths or McCall trip. If you're planning something longer — Yellowstone, Utah, the Oregon coast — tell us in your request and we'll work out the mileage with you up front.

Can we bring our dog?

Unfortunately not — no pets, due to allergies. We're sorry; we know that's a real disappointment for some of you. No smoking or vaping inside either.

What do we have to do before we bring it back?

Fill the fuel tank. That's it. No cleaning, no dumping the tanks, no laundry — the Adventure-Ready Package covers all of that. Just drive it back and hand us the keys.

Why book direct instead of through a platform?

There's no platform service fee sitting between us, and when something comes up mid-trip you're calling the person who owns the van — not a support queue in another time zone.
